Public Service Announcement

Allow me to reintroduce myself, my name is Rubes! R to the U-B.....

Haha.. well i do have one thing to say that's an announcement i guess, and it's this:

As of tonight, I no longer work at Cold Stone. That's all I'm gonna say about it, no details, nothing else. I didn't get fired. That's all you need to know.

Moving on, now... I can't wait to move back to St John's man, this summer has been like a roller coaster ride, crazy ups and downs, dramatic, fast-paced, and let's not forget the little girl behind you screaming so loud that you're deaf in one ear. JK on the last one, there was no screaming little girl around this summer, but you get the picture. I want a fresh start. In the words of one of my favorite bands, "I am ready to be new again." A gold star to anyone who figures out the name of that band and that song and writes it to me first as a comment, btw =). Okay random word time.. gotta get my mind off something. Velvet. Lamp. Visor. Putrid. Pokemon. Okay, I'm good now...

Sooo, leaving off from my last post, my creative juices have been flowing today...I finshed writing my second song on my guitar. And now I'm writing this! I feel like every day i should do something creative daily, like every 24 hours or so. Why do i always end up writing all my blogs post-midnight? Idk, homeskillet.... i guess this is my favorite time of the day. Or night. Whatever you wanna call it, Potato, Potahto. Have you ever met anyone who actually says it like "potahto"? I haven't.. but if I ever do I'll definitely mention it here on the blog. I just thought of something... about the name of my blog, "Words from the studly Ruben =)". If you take away the happy face at the end and the words "Words from" at the beginning, it sounds like a bar.. imagine a bar named "The Studly Ruben." Ha... or you could add an extra E in my name, like the Jewish version, and make it a Jewish bar. Or keep the E in there and put it on a diner's menu. I could picture someone saying "I'll have 'The Studly Reuben' on rye bread, please."

You see how my mind just goes from one thing to the next? Some people find that weird... but screw those people. I'd rather be weird then boring. I realized that I love weirdos... not the creepy or psychotic ones you see asking for money on the train, but people who aren't afraid to be wacky, fun, random, and most of all, themselves. Those are my kinda people. Forget going with the crowd, man. I used to do that, but I stopped because, well, being me is so much more fun than trying to be anything else. Quote that, bitches. Well, hasta maƱana, amigos... I'll write to you guys later on.
